PhD and Early Career Economists Symposium - 27 June 2024

Call for papers

Submissions of abstracts in theoretical and empirical studies in any areas of industrial economics and related fields of economics are invited for the 2024 Early Career Economists Symposium on Thursday, 27 June 2024 at the University of Warwick.

The Symposium brings together early-career economists (PhD students and those who completed their PhD in the past 5 years) to foster discussion and dissemination of research in all areas of industrial economics and other related fields in a friendly environment. External academics will join our internal faculty members to act as discussants, providing high-quality feedback. Financial assistance for presenters will be available to contribute towards travel and accommodation (if required). The extended abstract submitted for the symposium can refer to a finished paper, a thesis chapter, or a working draft.

The Best Paper Award of the Business and Industrial Section of the Royal Statistical Society will be given for the best use of data and/or methods in the analysis of industrial economics.
